Your ideas are too cool for a drop-down menu. Good! That’s what I’m here for! No “choose from 6 designs, pick a font” nonsense. Tell me what you’re imagining and let's make something truly custom, genuinely personal, and actually unique!
Support a small business! Support an artist! No AI slop, no drop-shipping!
Thank you so much for choosing a West Michigan artist to bring your creative idea to life! By choosing human-made, you’re supporting an ancient universal craft to remain relevant and special in a modern world of instant, mass-produced slop destined for the landfill. Handmade pottery can't be rushed. Throwing and shaping, trimming, drying, bisque firing, glazing, glaze firing, and quality checks all take time; so I intentionally keep commissions limited to ensure each piece receives the attention it deserves.

PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING A REQUEST:
- Submitting a request does not guarantee a commission; it saves your spot while I review your idea. I review the request and communicate any follow-up details or questions with you. Once you have communicated approval of my understanding of your idea and/or my concept for your request, I will send the invoice. Sent invoices are considered acceptance of the request.
- Each commission request is for a single piece, not multiple items. If you want more than one item, you must submit multiple requests.
- Upon submitting your request for a commission, you will be asked to fill out a Google Form survey asking for more details on your vision for your custom piece of art, along with full details about what to expect from the process. Please fill out promptly.
- By paying the invoice for your commission, you agree to the terms laid out in the commission agreement sent in the email correspondence with my design concept and/or your invoice.
- My typical turnaround time (without expedited options) is about 8 weeks, though this is an estimate; your commission may take longer or shorter to complete and fulfill. Turnaround time does not include shipping time. Once an order has been shipped, the time it takes to arrive to you is out of my control. Please keep carrier holiday deadlines, delivery times, and seasonal weather delays in mind in addition to my turnaround time when ordering a commission for a special occasion or holiday. If you need a special piece to arrive by a certain date, I'd suggest opting for the Expedited or Rush turnaround timelines, which are about 4 to 6 weeks respectively (again, estimated) and include free shipping.
- I intend to give you your request as true and faithful to your vision as possible within my skillset and resources. If I believe I can’t execute your request with quality craftsmanship, I will reach out to you to see how you’d like to proceed with a different request or cancel.
- While I'm happy to draw inspiration from colors, themes, or the feeling you're after, I don't copy or reproduce another artist's designs. If you have inspiration images, they're welcome as a starting point for discussing style, colors, or function.
- I do not reproduce licensed characters, trademarked logos, brand/company names, or copyrighted imagery. If you’re unsure whether your idea falls into this category, please ask!
- Your full balance must be paid before production of your commissioned piece will begin. You have one week from the time the invoice is sent to pay in full or forfeit the commission spot.
